What is articulated credit? Many schools have articulated agreements with area colleges to provide students with a seamless transition from high school into selected post-secondary career majors. These career majors are designed to save the student time, effort, and expense. The participating secondary and post-secondary schools have agreed upon the competencies that students must attain in their high school course work in order to earn college credit. A secondary teacher teaches the courses at the secondary school. The College Now program links high school and post-secondary courses, which allow students to progress to post-secondary education without the duplication of coursework. The earned credit is awarded when the student completes 3 credit hours at MSCC. |
